A Chinese Export Gilt Lacquered Sewing Case

of octagonal form, raised above the canted corners with four gilt decorated claw feet. The hinge top painted with figures gathering in a garden reserved by foliate borders continuing to the architectural landscape decorated walls. The interior and pull-out drawer outfitted with various covered compartments and wall-in-areas.
